FAQ

It’s my first yoga class ever. Where should I start?

We recommend that you start with our Stability class since we hold the poses a little longer, giving you time to understand what your body should be doing in each posture. These are offered every day and will be the same no matter the instructor.

Can anyone do Hot Yoga?

Absolutely, hot yoga is suitable for everyone! Each class is multi-level and everyone works with the variations best for them and their practice at the time. You don’t need to be flexible, flexibility is something you gain throughout your growth and practice with yoga. Whether you can touch your toes or not, yoga is about finding balance.

How often should I practice?

Daily practice rejuvenates your mind, body, and spirit. You should start to feel stronger and also calmer after just a few classes as you start to better tune in to your breath and focus during your practice. For the most results we always recommend at least 3 – 4 sessions a week.

What should I bring and what should I wear?

➺ Bring water or a refillable bottle, a yoga mat & towel, and blocks (we have all of these to rent or purchase at the studio). We have bottles of water available for purchase in the studio if you forget yours. Make sure you’re hydrated before hand and aim to drink about 16 oz. two hours prior to class. Try not to eat anything 2 – 3 hours before your class, and if you must, eat some fruit!
➺ Wear fitted clothes! Women tend to wear yoga pants or shorts with a fitted shirt or tank and sports bra. Men tend to wear a shirt and a pair of shorts.

How do I sign up for a class?

You can sign into classes using our online scheduler or our Hot House Yoga app! We do not require pre-registration, but spaces are limited so we recommend reserving your spot in advance.

For new students, we have an introductory offer that is 2 weeks of unlimited yoga for $99. If you take 6 classes within those 2 weeks, you get your money back to use on a membership. You can purchase this when visiting the studio for the first time! For this introductory offer we do ask you to pre-register for class. Just let the front desk know you’d like to purchase the intro package to begin your journey. We always welcome drop-in visits for $30.

What is your cleaning protocol?

We have always been committed to cleanliness and the highest standard of cleaning practices and procedures to ensure that Hot House remains a safe space for your yoga practice. We work very hard to provide healthy, clean, heat and air! We purposefully exchange a lot of air, 100%, 4 times per hour!  This air movement is key in having a healthy Hot Yoga environment. We clean the air with UV light, ionization, Hepa filtration, humidification, and CO2 monitoring, reducing airborne pathogens and odors. Also, our practice rooms are cleaned after every single class – multiple times per day – so you know you’re in the cleanest hot yoga environment available. We sanitize the studio between all of our classes by mopping floors after every single class and consistently wipe down touchable surfaces including countertops, handles, toilets, light switches & more using an EPA approved antiviral disinfectant.

We continue to ask and will always ask……

If you or anyone that you have recently come into contact with are exhibiting symptoms such as cough, runny nose, fever, fatigue, muscle aches, or shortness of breath,  please stay home so that we can continue to keep Hot House Yoga a safe environment.

Is the room like a sauna?

No. We keep the air constantly moving while monitoring the CO2 levels, Oxygen content & humidity as well as the heat. Our system also purifies the air with UV technology to eliminate viruses, bacteria, odors & air-borne molds. You’ll be deep breathing the freshest air around.
